The Management Committee meetings are held on the
third Tuesday of each month - 5.30 pm at the
Bowden Brompton Community Centre.

Community Members can join the
Bowden Brompton Community Group Inc.
by completing a  membership form and
paying a $2.00 annual fee.

All new memberships must be recommended by a current member and the membership must be ratified by the Management Committee.

This allows the member voting rights
at the Annual General Meeting plus 10% discount
on the Hire of the Facilities.

Membership is renewable in July of each Financial year
and must be paid at least  10 days before
the AGM for the member to have voting rights.

Strategic Plan 2007- 2010


Mission:

To build the ‘capacity’ of the Bowden Brompton Community through support services and supported self help community development programs responsive to identified community needs.

Objectives:

Through the Bowden Brompton Community Centre and its Services provide
A wide range of community services for the Bowden and Brompton community.
Safe and equitable access for all members of the community.
Opportunities for the sharing of information and ideas that will help in the building of a         better and stronger community.
Encouragement and support and where possible employment for local residents to work           together at both local and government levels to improve living and social conditions in             Bowden Brompton and neighbouring areas.
Encouragement for the community to take action on its own behalf and to press its                    claims on levels of Government and relevant agencies.
Assistance to families experiencing homelessness or who are at imminent risk of                       homelessness.
Assistance and support to refugees looking for appropriate housing
Coping skills and support for families at risk
