COMMUNITY CENTRE RESOURCES
Creating a Community which encourages learning,  growth, fun and friendship!
The facilities at the Community Centre are available for Community Hire at reasonable rates.

The Meeting Room
is available which has
a white board, TV, DVD trestles and
chairs for $30 for the first hour and
$15 dollars each hour after that.
Community groups can negotiate the price.

The Function Room
This carpeted room is 8 metres x 10 metres
and also has the kitchen attached.
There are trestles which are available for use 70
chairs, a commercial size fridge, and catering
stove. Stainless steel workbenches finish off the
easy care kitchen.
The function room has access to the back garden
through a sliding door. The back of the building
has partial covering in the form of a verandah,
with the rest of the garden paved and a small
piece of play equipment, suitable for children
up to 5.
This room can be booked by Community
members on a Saturday evening for family
functions, subject to approval from the Board
of Management.

Presently Council regulations require that all functions must finish at 12.00 midnight, because we are situated in a residential area.

Several Groups have taken advantage of booking the whole Centre for Workshops or Conferences over weekends.  This allows for groups to be split up into various workshops.

The Function Room also has access to some of the larger toys from the Children's Room, which can be booked for children's parties etc. in the Function Room
The Children's Room has a wide variety of toys, ride on vehicles and role playing equipment which will delight any child.  A new cubby house has recently been installed outside.

We were lucky enough to get $5000 donated to us by Variety SA to purchase all the toys and play equipment which is now available for your child's use

Variety has also recently donated money to have airconditioning installed in this room to make sure the children are in a comfortable environment.
Unfortunately this room cannot be hired at weekends due to the fact that our toys are not secure.
The Computing Suite is available for casual computer use, as well as structured groups and courses.

Basic Computing is offered in morning and  afternoon sessions over 5 weeks for $30.  During this 5 weeks participants also have an introduction to Internet and Email.

Intermediate Computing follows on from Basic and looks in more detail at various programs, and their application.

Casual Internet usage is charged at $1.50 per hour, with printing charged at 10 cents per page.
