Creating a Community which encourages learning, growth, fun and friendship!
Group Manager
Isabelle Dabrowski
Isabelle had worked in various organisations before joining the Bowden Brompton Community Group.
Isabelle took up the position at Bowden Brompton in August 2002 and after a settling in period and in consultation with the Management Committee, decided that one of her first priorities was to get some work done on the building and grounds in order to present the community with an upgraded facility which would not only attract greater community participation but would be able to accommodate the increasing need for more activities and services. With a grant from Community Benefit SA and a partnership with Jobs Statewide, a renovation project was embarked upon which would see vital new spaces developed, including a computing suite, a function room, a children's room and two extra offices. The Community Group is now in a better position to move forward with a new enthusiasm and vision.

Jayne always has a smile and is willing to help out with every task - no matter how demanding that may be.

Her positive interaction with the participants turned the group into a real "Friendship" group where the participants not only arrived for the group each week but helped each other after hours also.
Lois Cox - Administration and Volunteer
Lois has been involved with the Community Centre since 1999.
She first came to the Centre on a 'Work for the Dole' project working as an office assistant on the front desk.
After studying massage therapy, Lois took up the opportunity to rent an office at the Centre and provide a massage service to the local community.
